VW Group Visits Campark June 20-22

Every year, VWs rally together here in Niagara Falls, about 25-35 of them stay at Campark Resorts! Above are pictures of some of the awesome vehicles seen around the park last weekend!

KARAOKE DANCE PARTY at Campark every Saturday throughout the Summer

Every Saturday from the end of June to Labor Day Campark Resorts hosts a Karaoke/Dance Party. It is absolutely free and everyone is encouraged to join in!

Our day on the Great Gorge Adventure Tour...

On June 11 Gwen and I did the Great Gorge Adventure Tour. Gas Saving Tips for Camping

Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that gas prices are soaring and now, more than ever, is the best time to put those fuel saving tips to good use. Below, I have compiled a few common, but none the less effective, tips for you to use to keep costs down.

• Check those tires! Poorly aligned and under inflated tires will surely waste gas by making your engine work harder to get from point A to point B.


• Keep your vehicle serviced. Get your oil changed and filters cleaned/replaced. Take your car to the dealership to have a diagnostic test done, and then take the results to your local mechanic where they will most likely be able to do the work for much cheaper.


• Add a fuel additive to your gas tank that will help keep the fuel injectors clean.


• For long trips (such as those to Campark Resorts :) use an online mapping service or a GPS system to map out your trip, they usually pick the shortest and fastest route to your destination, avoiding wrong turns and lengthy off-route detours.


• Stick to the speed limit. Speeding can decrease your gas mileage by up to 15%


• Keep your windows closed while driving at highway speeds, this avoids air drag.


• Don't accelerate too fast and avoid idling!
